4. What is keratin?

a. Keratin is a strengthening protein that is formed mainly of amino acids. It is primarily present in the formation of successive layers in nails, skin and hair. The care and proper maintenance of the layers of keratin is important for the formation of new keratin layers, given that the old, dead cells protect the new ones. That's why it's been determined that a good dose applied directly to your hair can repair it from its very core, and recover the strength, elasticity and moisture that is lost through the years. You literally will have new hair formed of revitalized dead cells.

5. Is it best to apply Dream Hair Keratin or Seriseal Nanotech before or after coloring the hair?

a. For better results, color/highlighting processes should be done before applying Dream Hair Keratin or Seriseal Nanotech. It can be done the very same day! Otherwise, wait 2 weeks before applying color/highlights.

6. How many applications do I get from a 33.6oz bottle?

a. You can get up to 20 applications, depending on the length and thickness of the hair.

7. When can I wash my hair after the treatment?

a. You can wash the hair in the same day but we always recommend that you wait 24hrs for a better result.

8. Can Dream Hair Keratin be applied when the client is pregnant or nursing?

a. Dream Hair Keratin is not recommended during pregnancy or nursing because it contains formaldehyde. Seriseal Nanotech is a natural treatment, formaldehyde free, and it is the best option for pregnant/nursing clients.

9. Is Dream Hair Keratin or Seriseal Nanotech suitable for dry hair or will it make my hair drier?

a. They are both very suitable for dry hair. After using our treatment your hair will definitely not become drier, instead it will become shiny and silky. The shaft of the hair is sealed with keratin and other conditioning ingredients. In essence we are conditioning the hair from the inside out which will in turn soften the dry, frizzy hair.

11. Will the heat generated during the flat iron process damage my hair?

a. Although heat damage from a flat iron happens occasionally the keratin used in our keratin hair treatment restores the health of the hair. Also our product has thermal protectors that prevent damage due to the heat of the flat iron.

a. Yes, you can use Dream Hair Keratin and Seriseal Nanotech over any kind of previously straightened hair (relaxers also), as long as the scalp and hair are healthy enough to receive professional salon services.

a. No, chemical relaxers swell and soften the hair shaft which can cause damage. This treatment does not swell and soften the hair shaft.

15. Can I use Dream Hair Keratin on virgin hair?

a. Yes, but the results won’t last as long as a treatment performed on previously colored or chemically treated hair. After you use Dream Hair Keratin once, the results are the same as a chemically treated hair.

16. Can I use DreamHair Keratin on teenagers?

a. Yes, we recommend that teenagers under the age of eighteen should produce verifiable parental consent. We recommend Seriseal Nanotech for kids under 12 years old

17. How long will DreamHair Keratin or Seriseal Nanotech the treatment last?

a. The DreamHair Keratin treatment lasts up to four months, if properly maintained. The Seriseal Nanotech lasts 6 to 8 weeks.

18. If I apply more product will I have a better result?

a. No, you will only waste product.

19. What shampoo should I use after getting the treatment?

a. We recommend that you use a sodium chloride and sulfate free shampoo, such as KerAcai Shampoo and Conditioner. Also use KerAcai Hair Mask once a week.

20. Do I have to touch up on my next visit or do the whole head?

a. You have to always do the whole head following all the instructions.

21. Can I do the treatment every month?

a. Yes, but generally is not necessary.

22. Should I cut my hair before the treatment?

a. No, it is better to cut the hair after the treatment and trim off any overly processed ends.

23. Will any of the treatments change the color of my hair?

a. DreamHair Keratin will not change the color of your hair. Seriseal Nanotech may bring the color up to 2 levels. In this case, after the entire treatment is finished, you may shampoo the hair with “Silver Shampoo” to bring the color back.

Note: This is not a permanent treatment. Your hair’s texture will return back to its original form as the treatments depleted from the hair caused by the use of cleansers, chlorine, saltwater and other elements.
